And on another note, does anyone know how to set up media servers on your pc?
My PS3 is on my PC and Laptop network, just wondering how you access the movies and songs that are on my PC from the PS3.

Use nero mediahome which comes in the ultra editions from version 7 onwards. It will also allow you to transcode xvid/divx media on the fly to mp4.
WMP 11 also does media sharing but there is no transcoding. |

From what I looked at though you can choose what resolution to transcode into (i.e. maintain same quality as the original) but if it is 720p HD stuff you need a beasty PC to do it on the fly. |

Picked up the PS3 and Bravia tonight.....just wondering though is the PS3 supposed to come with some sort of a demo disc or some demos on the HDisk? Hanging out to check out something in Full HD 1080p.
