Thought it was illegal to re-sell on ebay for more than the purchase price... but none have been taken off yet.

I know for a fact its not illegal to scalp tickets in WA not sure about other states.. But there is no law against it in WA.

I think Nova 93.7 FM (morning) is giving free tickets.

Judging by what I saw in the 400 strong queue that was there on Friday morning at Burswood.. it wouldnt be a bad move for a single guy looking to meet girls to go to this concert ! crikey haha

and FYI its not illegal to on-sell tickets.. but the conditions of sale (clearly marked on the back of every Ticketek ticket - dont know bout other companies) state that you cannot on sell the ticket for more than the face value of the ticket (or something to that effect). So yes you can buy it and sell it to your mates.. but only for the same amount you paid for it. I think it says something about them having the power to void your ticket if its proved you are onselling/scalping.

Thats what i was thinking Tara!... i remember the Cricket World cup in recent years when people selling tickets on EBay for like 10 times its 'face value' and they would have the tickets voided. Spewin if you bought ticks for max price and find out its voided.. bugga!
