is anyone or does anyone know a garage door technician that can come and re-tension my panel lift door? on the weekend one of the cable cames off the pulleys??? i had to release the tension in one of the springs to get the thing to close properly,

i called a dude out of the yellow pages on saturday arvo, after he told me the call out fee was $320 and i picked my jaw off the floor and told him not to worry about it

so yeah if anyone can put me in the right direction or knows how to tension up these things shoot me a pm, my subi is currently stuck in there & i have to drives the missuses pulsar, i'm sure you can all feel my pain

my dad had to get this done recently, got the guy from centurion to come do it. I think that cost him around $200...

now that price sounds a bit more reasonable, i'll give em a call a bit later on

Did a search on garage doors and came up with this thread.

On Brett's recommendation, I contacted his brother-in-law Dave at Ace Garage Doors regarding a couple of replacement remotes for an ATA Securadoor electric opener.

Quoted me an awesome price, way better than the other 2 places I rang (needed 3 quotes for the owner of this property). He now has my business and I will call him for door servicing on my property portfolio when the time comes.

ohhh if he does installation etc I will be giving him a call as I need to close off the rear of my garage for my new place
