I heard that Ben Cousins came around and caught him rooting Judd's Mrs, so they got in a fight and Mainy accidentally snorted Cousin's stash of Ice. He then OD'ed, and Cousins ran away from a booze bus that was setup outside Mainy's house.

In other words, plenty of rumours and we should leave these to the tabloids....we'll wait and see what the police have to say once they've investigated.

The family was in Toodyay. Mainwaring isn't exactly Lady Di, and nor were his mates like Benny Boy.

The only tragedy here is the plight of his wife and family. Frankly piss poor that he was throwing his career away (leave of absence from 7 anyone?) and his life when he had a young family.

Get help if you get in that situation.

My sincerest respects to Chris, his family and friends. I feel I should clean this up though.

My mum is the manager of Armadale hospital. This morning when she began her shift, she was informed by the previous manager who was just finishing her shift that Chris had died of a drug overdose. Her source was directly from the manager of Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital who was present when Chris was bought in.
Although to confirm it an autopsy must be complete, I can unofficially say that it is 99% certain he died of an OD.

RIP Chris. A fantastic human who will be missed by thousands.
