Funny you say that dude... I can confirm that it is true.

I went to Scotch and I did rowing for years.

Many years ago some boys from Scotch won a rowing competition...

In celebration the kids used to jump off the edge of the decking and go for a swim. However - I was told that one year a kid did jump off, but he never surfaced. The body was never found.

So yes - weird shit does go down at the Scotch boat shed.

Also - further over towards Meads/Oyster Bar is a very "uneasy" spot. A few years ago a guy I knew (also from Scotch) was found there after a boating accident. He fell off the back of the boat and managed to knock himself out. After hours of searching the body washed up right Meads.

Wasn't too long ago actually - R.I.P Rhys

In Sept I did the ghost tour at Port Arthur . Took a heap of pics but nothing interesting showed up. Didn't even feel anything weird or spooky at the time. Maybe I'm insensitive to these things but I have felt eerie presences before when I visited underground WW2 bunkers in Okinawa

yea...those war sights really gives you the chill...don't know if its the actual place thats doing this or its the knowledge that many soldiers have died there, gruesome deaths...but whatever it is, war sights give me the chill that no other places can give, even thinking about it now gives me creeps

We have lost of "quality burley" but Burleying up in the swam with this stuff would get ya a huge fine and if someone went swiming there days after and got chomped, it would be terrible.

Let ya know how i go this weekend

Sad to here R.I.P

yeah when im fishing down there, there are alot of girls who bring the row boats up and jump in during summer. Now i will be freakin out seeing them jump in.
I spose chances are slim of gettin eaten but there should be a warning sign that sharks are there at the boatshed or kids warned about what happend there many years ago

Sharks love Cott (and in coming years i predict more in close to hillarys. Reasons behind all this!) but theres no warning signs!

They probably have far higher risk of dieing in a car accident on the way to rowing!
