Strip & Sell. Noone wants to buy a modded car which possibly has been flogged.

u dont want to start that debate again... Just because a car is modded does NOT mean that it has been flogged.. People that spend alot of money on their cars take BETTER care than those ppl which just buy a car and leave it standard. This is in terms of outside appearance BUT also the type of oils and fuels that go into the engine.. Not to mention more frequent servicing etc etc.... And the list goes on |
strip it
then sell it to the dealer yes, you wont get the $ you want but its quicker and less time wasters stripping it could be hard if you dont have your stock bits |
Thanks guys, i have all the stock bits, it's just that to see whether which is more worthed, coz to strip the parts would need some $$ again.
What could i got for most of my parts if you have any suggestion?, such as Motec, tbe xhost,vf30turbo,bov,spring,swaybars,lips,grill,rims and etc ? thanks |
I'll give you $200 for the VF30.

Definitely strip the parts and sell the car stock. I was asking $30k for my car with everything on it, including all the spare bits in the storeroom. No one would pay that money for a MY99 with 70,000+ kms. I had the car up for sale for ages.
Ended up stripping the parts, got about $8-9k back in parts (and that's at basement I-gotta-move-these-parts-asap prices), sold the car for $24k. After taking into account labour cost for stripping/refitting stock parts, I got about $31k back. More than what I would have gotten if I had sold the car as it was! |
