Ipod Nano

Does anyone know where I can buy an Ipod Nano. Not the new wider one, but the previous model which was a bit thinner. It's discontinued, but I was thinking some shops may still stock it?

That's the 2nd generation iPod Nano. I doubt that any retailers still stock them but there is an ebay seller who claims to sell new ones. The 4gb models go for $130-160 + postage. (http://stores.ebay.com.au/e-tech-Unlimited)

Keep in mind that the 3rd gen nanos (wide ones) play video and that their RRP is far less than the 2nd gen.

4gb 2nd Gen = $299.95 RRP
4gb 3rd Gen = $199.95 RRP

I was after a 2nd gen after mine got stolen but couldn't go past the new one - it plays videos and is pretty much the same price brand new from a retailer as the 2nd gen is after being heavily discounted over ebay. Up to you mate good luck.

Yeah it's defo the better player, but I already have a video ipod. I just wanted the nano for running and the 2nd gen was perfect size. 3rd gen looks a bit awkward for running, size wise. If the shuffle had a display Id go for that.

How much do you want to spend?

Thinking of upgrading my 2nd gen ipod nano.

take a look at them in the flesh (3rd Gen) - i was skeptical too untill a mate got one. They really are smaller than you think and weigh nothing. i just recommend seeing them in the flash before shelling out $100 more.

I've got the second gen and i don't think i'd want to "upgrade" to the 3rd. I played around with a friends one as well as at myer and the general feel of it just isnt all that great. Its a little harder to hold as its not as wide and just doesn't feel right somehow. They should've stuck with the gen 2 style and made it smaller or whatever, i dont feel it works as a square.

maybe $80
