How will Rio shares be affected if the BHP Billiton bid is successful?

One would receive 3.4 BHP shares for 1 RIO share at the current offer.

3.4 is still undervaluing Rio. Doubt it will get accepted.

I can see those of us in the share savings scheme will get screwed over somehow on this deal if it goes through.
Might just have to take out he cash and get some Perrin Headers

I would assume youll get the cash regardless I guess it all depends on when you started the scheme.

i think to be successfull the offer needs to be 4.25 BHP shares to 1 RIO share..
