Default Rio Tinto shares

How will Rio shares be affected if the BHP Billiton bid is successful?

One would receive 3.4 BHP shares for 1 RIO share at the current offer.

Could be positive, could be negative...depends on how much the bid is and of course, the sentiment of the investors.

3.4 is still undervaluing Rio. Doubt it will get accepted.

I can see those of us in the share savings scheme will get screwed over somehow on this deal if it goes through.

Might just have to take out he cash and get some Perrin Headers
