Most fun car driven to date - Early MX5 with a tuned LS2 shoehorned under the bonnet. Truly epic, epic fun.

Owned - My track bike is far more fun than any car I have owned, eats stock 1000's round Barbs and makes me smile a lot. Rex will hopefully take its place for ultimate grin factor though (One day).

Been in a few big HP & exotic cars, GF's dad has a slightly modded (Chip & exhaust) Mazza GT and have given that a good flogging. Was fun but not what I would own. F1 box was frustrating.

997 GT3 at Nurburgring gets an honorable mention also.

Fortunate enough in my industry to go for drives/drive in SOO many exotics/toys/projects/race cars.

First and obvious one that comes to mind is the time attack car I sponsor:

666hp @ all 4s on roller dyno (ovaboost) - insane to have a car that will change lanes for you on boost @ freeway speeds

A friends 13b RX7 back in NZ...lost traction in 3rd getting on the Motorway in Auckland.. had brown undies after that.

Second was my mates 400hp evo 2 (but that probably just seemed insane as it was years ago).

Most recently it was brewed's twin scroll STI.. very nice car to drive.

Years back my cousin had an XA GTHO Coupe with a fully worked 460 Dove motor.

Thing scared the shit out of me.

Car I built in my late teens:

Take 1 x Holden HK panel van, 3 speed column shift with 161 ci engine...strip out engine, drivetrain, interior, front brakes, suspension etc.

Buy from wrecked HK Monaro: 327 V8 complete with roller rockers, solid lifters, 4 speed box, lsd, disc brakes, suspension, full interior (bar rear seats).

Transplant above into said panel van shell (now fully resprayed inside & out)...drive with lots of skids....lay 100 metre rubber strips on road outside mates place in Applecross....much power, not much traction.
mARC and GTB Liberty like this.
