Lol yeah I spose your right, sort of don't look at it that way when you get free entry and paid for the day. I didn't start til 3.30pm though, didn't know it opened late etc. If you had a virgin mobile you got into the VIP section of the "venue", got you a free drink, free nibbles and access to toilets with no que. As for the mudbath, they did try to soak it up with woodchips by the looks of things. But I didn't think it was THAT bad .

I worked 12.30 - 4.30... not that I did anything, hence why I said I feel for those who gave 130 bucks up for a ticket.

The woodchips only covered the entry area ... anything in front of the main stage was game over, the area in front of the small stage to the right of the main stage was an absolute mud pit.

They had the right intentions but poor execution.. like the wheelchair viewing platform which was so far back you couldnt see over the crowd of people according to the guy who we were talking to.

They had a water setup to hand out water to people in front of the stage ... little did they realise that they had plugged into water which isnt suitable for drinking.

Id stick to selling phones and flying people around Richard Branson.

Having said all this the ear plugs that I was given gave me an infection thats made me feel like turd all week, so maybe Im just being a asshole in spite

i had a grand old time. spent most of the day at the red bull beach. drank way to much. whilst laughing at the poor suckers blowing up the inflatables.

The down side was definately the mud i wore white shoes and white shorts and some girl thought it would be funny if she made a game of making my shoes brown.

lets just say she was dropped in the mud during the smashing pumpkins set.

i thought the sound quality was up there, queens were awesome!!! crowd was possibly the softest id ever seen.

no moshpit whatsoever, when QOTSA played know one knows, i tried to start my own moshpit but got told by the people around me to calm the fuck down and enjoy the music.... how do you enjoy music without jumping around like a tool trying to hurt people????

cut copy were good, smashing pumpkins was possibly the worst live band iv ever seen, only beaten by the vines! they just had a 10 minute jam session at the end of each song - no real solo - just loud noises. and still no moshpit.
