Yeah you can - It's a straight swap, but I agree with Dan. The current grille is modelled on the same front end as the R32, Jetta, etc. Looks a lot more professional and clean.

Looks like the Scirocco is taking the three Golf power plants (GT, GTI and R32) as options into the one car. The 3.6L that they mention will be either the same or modelled on the current R32 engine.

Looks like I just quacked on one of these bad boys.

I sign the papers tomorrow.

Got a TSi in Candy white with the DSG Box
Bi Xenons included and driveaway for $3000 less than RRP. I am really happy with the deal plus the vehicle is in stock! Something very rare it turns out with VW's

I hopefully pick it up Monday if I am back from work in time

I hated the DSG personally. While its all good on the fly at full throttle, at low load and throttle input it seemed to struggle and hunt for a gear at times.

Apart from that, outstanding performance from a 1.4l, well thought out, roomy, comfy, user friendly, and with the TC off... it will peel a front wheel pretty darn well

I see what you mean, I pretty much ran the demo in Sport mode for the majority of the time. I found up to 60 if you gave it some shit, once you would shift to 4th and calm down it would want to jump straight back to 3rd and keep the revs up.(once back in auto mode)

Did you step on the brakes at all? I jumped on them and just about flew through the windscreen. I was so impressed with the braking

They should release more vehicles with the R50 engine.

The ECU flashing on the GTI's makes them a pretty handy 200kw DSG point and shoot weapon.

Can the R32 be flashed like the Gti? Or only with minor gains?
