Just wondering if anyone had any pics of a Chev in a gc body , as i have just aquired a 400 chev and long motor complete with hi stall torque converter and tranny brake and think it would make a great project to give those hillbillies at motorvation something to jeer about , any pics especially of firewall or there lack of would be appreciated . This wont be a track car mainly drag / burnout car and will give me a chance to bolt me NOS bottle onto , Bring on Motorvation 09

You might have more luck posting this on NASIOC mate. Awesome project, I would expect you will need a truck load of cash and time to make it work.

Best thing its mainly the time and finding a shell for a donor , have a chasis builder as a brother in law so got that all covered , also got a shortened diff with the deal , got a rebuild stroker kit in mind so we'll see what what horses shes good for . And chris na still got the mule as a toy but its about time its done , just step out and look at your car and instead of the wrx scoop just imagine a beautiful chrome blower and hillborn injection set up

UMMMM what about registering it. Isn't 400 chev way too big compared to the 2L the car came with to make it legal shoe horn?

There was a guy advertising 97 wrx stuff in the quokka about 12 months ago. When i called him he was saying all the running gear came out as he intended putting in a V8 and turning it into a drag car. So there may possibly be one in perth...
