Went for a blast in a v8 supercar today!
Went for a couple of laps in the Glenford tools v8 supercar at Barbagallo this afternoon...FOOK ME! has that thing got some serious power in it!
 Awesome fun! Can get a bit hairy in the car as it fights it way around the track. That thing is seriously QUICK! Taking my rex around barbagallo will never be the same again!

A guy I used to work with had a go in a Supercar. The instructor told him not to take it above 6 1/2k RPM. So being the man he is, he's constantly pushing the rev limiter (like 8k haha) and the instructor's going off at him! He said it's the closest thing to a motorbike that he's been in, in terms of pushing power.
Sounds like awesome fun How does it compare to a regular Rex, Rob? PS: might hit you up for that 99/00 STi front lip soon

Certainly has the "scary power" that I would like...My rex has 269hp and that certainly is not scary power....its like being on big bore bike and flogging it....my lap was hand timed at 1.01...which by super car standards is quite slow....HUGE difference to when we lap I lap in my rex!

Considering they were doing 57-59's in race trim, a 1.01 for a car youve never driven is freaking awesome.

Oh Sorry - post is a bit confusing! I never drove.,...just got strapped in to the passenger seat and was driven around.
