It would be a good thing for a few of the younger members on here to have a read through that section and see just how easily things can go wrong. You do stand a better chance in a car but that is not a sure thing.

Not every motocycle accident involves another car or is the cars fault. The amount of times ive had a biker sitting in my blind spot is unbelieveable. Then again, cars can do the same.....so ghey.

Yea I do realize that but the majority of the accidents caused by the bike rider are the result of the rider deciding to push the limits a little ( not unlike the majority of drivers on this forum. Myself included )

The majority of accidents involving a bike but caused by the car / truck driver are simply inattention / not giving a shit what is going on around them.

hahah eric you can hear most sports bikes though... Yeah its very sad the amount of bike riders that find themselves arse up or worst. I havent been in the situation yet and hopefully never will.

Anyways to anyone wanting a ride we got a big group heading out this friday night.

All to true. All people that drive on wa roads should get on a bike for just one day. you will have alot of people looking like this after they see the shit that people in cars do..

I have found young drivers and performance cars prob the worst in some cases. Yes you have a car it may be fast but dont even bother going up againest a bike. Even a little 250 will pull away from the best of them off the lights so why try.

Merging and lane changing is the best i seen. You all must see when a bike changes lanes 9/10 a biker will duck his head and look over his shoulder... Its a shame most cars never check blind spots once they have there licence..

Yea Affirmative on the R's But only got them last month.

12 months riding around on the mrs Suzuki LV250 ( harley style ) was shear hell when all the guys from work are on GSXR 1000's, Ducati's and such. Sure can't be good going for a couple of hour ride and being absolutely full throttle the whole time trying to keep up. No full throttle doesn't equate to speeding enough for the POPO to worry about.

Gixxer 750 now thats another story. Really have to try to go slow.
