Ok, few things to clarify...

1. How do you know it was an 05 WRX? 03-05 have the same headlights so it could be any of that range of cars.

2. No police officer ever in the world will (a) not identify themselves with ID (b) ask to see your wallet. They will only ever need your drivers license. Also if they are plain clothed and don't show ID, don't hang around.

3. I would doubt there would be police out and about in a 3+ year old Subaru. Much more stealth cars for undercovers to be in than that.

if they had pulled her over, not given id like you said and then told her they were confiscating/towing her car would she have let them?

...ok officer, heres my keys, my wallet, my bag, my home address, my alarm code. help your selves!

you can't really be serious about handing over her whole hand bag! no cop ever, would ask for it unless they want to search it and even then they don't take it
