I concur but prepare to bend over when paying & its a good idea to give the chips a miss ($12 gets you 6 fried potato logs).

Ace:
Try Village Cafe Northbridge, 18A Aberdeen Street, Northbridge.
I'v not tried it yet but as the owners are fine people I am pleased to put in a plug for them, not sure if they’ll give you a discount tho’. They were tenants of mine last year.
Cuisine is Mediterranean Turkish Greek.
See www.villagecafenorthbridge.com.au for pics and menus.

Best restaurant in the CBD:
Balthazar by far.
Amazing fine dining french food.

I also rate chi as a asian dining place, their chicken and salted fish fried rice is pretty good.

Unfortunately there are quite limited fine dining restaurants in the city.

Oh and C restaurant definately doesnt get my vote.
