Asus Laptop!!!
 

Hey guys,

I'm considering buying a Asus laptop brand new of my mate (probably hot), i just wanted to see if you think it's worth it or not? I've seen it and it does look pretty sweet.

It's got a 15.4inch screen, it's black, 2.0ghz intel duo core 2 processor, 3gb ram, 320gb hard drive, buletooth, rotational 1.3 megapixel webcam, wireless lan, comes with all the goodies and a mouse. $900

If you want something else with warranty, i ended up with a 1/2 spec Toshiba Sattelite off Good Guys for 600 after cashback redemption thingo on wednesday..

2 gig celeron, 2 gig ram, 120 gig hdd, 15.4 screen, vista basic and dvdrw/ram.

Enough to play solitaire, surf the web, peruse some porn.

Although it pretty much sits in the loungeroom with my missus using it.

yeah only thing is a different chip, and a bit smaller hdd.. i mean you can buy them from Big W atm, 640gg external Western Digital for $140..

get him down to 700 haha !

thanks ey ill try but it's guna be a long process for haggling lol. Also does the ram make much of a difference?

yeah does depending on what your using it for.. 3 gig is a good amont for vista.

oh okay well he said the best he can do for me is $800. ill have to think about it. If anyone has any opinions if i should pay $800 for em then please post!!!
