He was an ex aircraft engineer or there abouts (or at least that is what he said) and hence he was super qualified to do any work on your car. I went into the shop once and the price he was asking for stuff was horrendous.

Smelt dodgy so never went back and never opened my wallet.

I think his name was Col.

I found this?????
A mate of mine (very ignorant & in his 40's) was telling me a few weeks back that he Bought a blue 300ZX for $34,000 even though he already owned one that was the most unreliable pile of shit ever put on the road, it must have been the one in this wankers for sale section.........Poor Dave.

Oh & he had it off the road to get Lambo doors fitted for 7g at the time

Funny how Col was always happy to talk up his supposed aircraft knowledge, but would hate for you to know about how he would still be doing aeromotive if CASA hadn't shut down his business out at Jandakot.

Same thing with me. Went in to look at a radar detector, everything was just too fast and furious cool (oh just come in any time and play with the sound systems, chill out etc) and the prices were crazy. So I made sure I left quickly.

Seems the right decision was made for once!

You know, I was having a shit day.. friends losing jobs, projects going to shit because of mine shut downs, work piling up etc.... then I was informed of this..

Maybe, even in a small way... there is SOME justice.

Long live Karma..

My mates brother was having an engine conversion done on his Pulsar by these guys ... he quoted somewhere around 8-10g for the job then sent out an invoice for over twice that amount.
So the guy is now carless and is trying to take Col to court but isn't having any success as apparently the guy has business debts of over a mil.
