Brant was available on MY99 onwards. When I got the MY99 WRX subaru
was putting them in free. My MY00 STI has it also.

It was never "factory". Brant/Subaru have a deal where they install them
when the cars get to Australia.

Perhaps this is a good time for all those people who have disabled theirs
to man up and and actually start using it. A little bit of pissing about each time
you start saves a lot of heart ache later.

Lets face it, when you pick up some chick you take a few moments to
put on a condom to save getting "that call" from her later.... Same deal
with the Brant... takes a few moments but saves you having to
make "that call" to the police later...
