1988 land cruiser specs
 
does anyone know anything about land cruisers on here?
ive been trying to find out whether the hj60rg is coil sprung or leaf sprung?
any help would be appreciated

More than the cost of buying a 80series that's light years ahead of the 60.

60 series has Leaf springs, pushrod clunker engines (petrol and Diesel are both nuggets) Lots of rust traps, low towing capacity, 4 speed gearbox (some have a 5th tagged on the back but it's crap)

80 series has better donks, better transmissions, full time 4wd (in GXL and above) coil springs, better steering box, you name it it's better. Some regard the 80 as the best model made, I had one (a GXL TD) for 10 years and it was a great truck.

Unless you just want to beach launch a boat or a cheap fishing rig, forget the 60 and prior 'Cruisers.
