were taken from an AC130 Specter gunship (plane) two and a half miles
away. The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and
planning to ambush an American convoy which followed a short while
after the pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and
were pacing off the distance from the bomb to where the convoy was to

Hah! I'm sure that's the exact arguement used by the "insurgents" as they fight in whatever way they can to stop their country being invaded by a foreign force. Same as you (hopefully) and I would if someone tried to take over Australia.

If the AC130 is a flying plane , how did they get the video to be shot like it was stationary?

dunno cus theyre a HUGE plane which would nee dto travel at a huge speed for any stability !

More likely from an AH-64 Apache using it's turret mounted 20mm canon. The AC130 doesn't have such controlled fire.
