Anyone have contacts for freight UK to Perth

Form Subaru @ this address
18-20 Edinburgh Road
Penicuik, Midlothian
EH26 8NW

to Perth.

Rough guestimate is about 1 m * .4 m * .4 m and about 6 KG ( Will get exact details before committing )

Item is about 275 pound and they can't find freight for less than 400 pound. Sending things internationally is not their normal business but item is considerably cheaper ( very difficult to find anywhere anyway ) from a UK dealer and they are happy to help out.

So you after a company over in the UK that can doit cheaper??

Wouldn't the dealer your going through know best for international freight from the UK??

i think he means have family or a good friend who might be able to pick it up and post or smoething similar...am i right?

No freight company. The dealer doesn't really freight anything ( would be like asking Subaru Aussie park to send a dash mat to the UK. Just not set up to do it and have no accounts with anyone )

Basically if I cant arrange it much cheeper I will have to pass on it. Bout $100 ( 50 pounds ) is about the limit cos I have had rather heavy snow chains sent from a similar area for less than that.

I do have a friend that will be there in July but not sure if he will have enough spare luggage room to bring it back.

I can ask my sister who lives in the UK if you want mate. OR if you can wait i will be going to the UK in June to visit my new niece. I can always bring it back with me and pay $100 as excess lugage or something??

I'm hoping to look for some nice prodrive goodies too :D

try some of the relocation companies over there like london baggage etc? they have a lot of experience with picking stuff up, airplane at at your door in 2-3weeks.
