I got my WRX from http://www.westsideauto.com.au/index.php
They have a few in now actually.

Without trying to gush to much I was VERY impressed by the service I got from them. They are very much a no BS dealership....There was no hard sell and they dont pretend to know everything about the cars in stock so we were left alone until we wanted to open negotiations....of which there were few because the trade in price offered was the best I had been offered and was actually very close to its private market value which was a pleasant suprise.

We decided to let them organise the finance to see what figures they could come up with and again we were pleasently suprised. We got a lower than I could find interest rate and they also managed to get us a very competative insurance premium.
The finance lady there is very good at what she does and did not come across as the usual dealership finance reseller.

Also we inspected and drove the car on a Wednesday evening and I was driving it away on the Friday lunchtime!

I would say to the dealer $14K and I'll trade in... see what he says then.

Cut your losses $5K and climb into something you have wanted for a while

if your willing to accept 14k, then 400 is a small sacrifice for getting a subaru. i would do it if its just 4-500$.

It's a buyers market and you should be glad you have a buyer. My mate's had hsi car on the market for over a year. Make sure you get something that will be sellable as well. i.e no falcadores.
