yes, scammer, i think people from Scotland can speak slightly better english than that, however, not always understandable. Clearly Nigerian scammer or something similar.

tell him if he tranfers you a deposit you will ship the car and he can transfer you the rest upon arrival.

Suffice to say you will not send the car but if he DOES send a deposit then sick you scammed the scammer

When I was working in London, I had a car and sold it through Scoot just before I left. It was bizarre I had 12 calls on the first day. It was a crappy Honda Accord being sold for UK 200. yet there seemed to be heaps of interest. After the 4th or 5th call from an African sounding person I started to get sus. 2 guys said they would buy it without even seeing it. I'm still not 100% sure what the scam was as the car was not worth much.

might have involved grabbing your banking details for "direct transfer" purposes??? also some people might be silly enough to pass on their Credit Card details over the phone? dunno

Have you tried selling it on perthfalcons or perthbseries? Both local forums and at the price you got it advertised for, I would be suprised if someone didn't buy it quickly
