Cheers all
Highly recommend staying in Nusa Dua. its out of Kuta its clean and safe. you can still get to Kuta by taxi and its only about 20min drive. You can go to Kuta go hard and then retreat to a nice quiet part to unwind and relax. We stayed in Nikko Bali resort when we went and...10/10 Top resort!, right on the beach...the pool bar was tops and the staff just amazing. Also depending on if you like shopping the nusa dua galleria was about 10mins away, where you can get all your brand clothes (lacoste..D&G...Paul smith), the kuta central was mainly markets, i found that stuff a bit cheap that broke easy lol. Stayed at Bali Rani last trip and that was o-k.
Can recommend Hard Rock if you have deep-ish pockets, as well as the Padma. |
Also if your interested in doing some tours.
Bali quad bike White water rafting the african safari are some of the best tours :) |
OMG the african safari was awesome! I patted the tiger and held the orangutang (how ever u spell it) It was a great day out..... even got to see the Lions shagging as I ate my lunch lmao (talk about a 2 second man the king o' the jungle looks like a dud root hehe)
Gerry..... I got up to a lot of drinking and enjoyed the view :D |
lol i bet you did!!!

Nusa Dua is nice n all but kinda pricey Last coupla times I went we stayed in Sanur which is nice & quiet and easy on the pocket... market stall prices/eateries/bars are damn good as well due to lesser numbers of tourist customers... 15 mins from Kuta... AND you get to see the sunrise over water, a less common sight for us West Aussies.
But if you are looking to party big time, then Kuta is prob the go for you. I will be there on Monday mwuhahahaha... but this time staying at the Risata in Tuban (near airport) just for something different. Poolside bar here I come |
