im looking to buy a new phone outright (8800 carbon arte) what's the best place/person to go see?

i would prefer to buy from a store/person so i can forge a good relationship so if anything goes wrong ie: warranty they can help me out.

any contacts in the industry to try and save me a small fortune.

ebay have them pretty cheap, from aussie sellers. its an awesome phone though, just lacks a lot of features for the price. i know that phone shops in perth are charging double than whats on ebay, and thats if they even sell them.

your right, even if they can't get it in (which is a tall ask) the asking price is worse than what people ask for personalized number plates on here :mad:

ive been using the 8800 sirocco now for two years so its time for a new phone.

as explained, i rather deal direct with someone for the reason's given, even if that means paying a little more.

A mate of mine was looking for this phone a while back and I remember him saying thqt there were quiet a few fakes on the net so be careful. He ended up getting something else so can't help you for local dealers.

Sorry to hijack, but just quickly, does anyone know where you can buy the tiny screws used on the back of the Nokia n95? They're torx screws but normal Phillips in that ridiculously small size would be ok!

i got a n95 through a 3 dealer local to me, in ellenbrook, called mo's mobiles. very personal service, the lady there recognises me every time i walk by and knows me on first name basis - she is the same with my brother. every time i have a problem with the phone etc, i just take it back and she helps every way possible, even takes my phone to the tech division in perth for me, in her own time

find a little outlet like that and you should be right ;)

Nice looking phone, but as mentioned....very lacking in features. Bling only.

thnx phil, im trying ian from allphones at the moment. on his system it only shows the arte as the sapphire has been discontinued, which is the phone you list on that link, despite saying otherwise.
