Default Places to eat in New York

Hey guys,

I'm in Manhattan for a week or so. I've never been before and I'm totally spoiled for choice in terms of places to eat.

Who can reccomend some delecious destinations? Swanky or simple doesn't matter, I want to try it all, and as much as possible! So any inside knowledge or experience would be awesome.

Thanks heaps!

This place is a must!!!! Pricey but you get half a cow, the size of the meals and quality of the meat is unbeleivable! Pretty much anywhere in Greenwich Village is worth trying but go with an open wallet you can pay up to and above $100 a main. Pasties across the road from The Gansevort is highly recommended for breakfast.

It's NY. To truly experience American culture, you have to include Hooters & Burger King!

If you want something American, try this grease pit! It's a sit down heart attack.
