This has been mentioned in a few posts by Steve and others but I missed it so thought I'd put it in thread.

My understanding is that Cherry has to hang around for a couple of years to run it. Still some debate over what is going to happen to the whole amatuer motorsport thing out there as it does not really fit in with RAC's image.

Bah, I was afraid of that, My initial reaction to the purchase of the facility by the RAC was that they'd try to get rid of the Motorsport side of things.
The RAC has no plans to restructure the business that currently offers strong revenue streams.
Fingers crossed this means MC Motorsport events will continue.

The RAC in the UK is heavily involved in motorsport at all levels and often promote the lines between motorsport and the developments it brings to road cars as well as the increased driver skill that can be gained on trackdays.

I guess here the government has got everyone so brainwashed in to thinking cars are child killing machines spewing teh cabonz in to the air that they just couldnt run a business linked to any "hoon like behaviour"
