Etax Problem
 

Hey there guys,

Just wondering if you guys had any problems when trying to lodge the tax form via etax.

I keep on getting Error 3066 and 5011 when I try to lodge it, the part where they are trying to validate my id but it WON'T connect.

I ring up IT and they just keep telling me to wait 24 hours and do it again and/or uninstall and reinstall but still the error comes up. IT is useless.

Any similar problems?

Stupid question, but you are definitely connected to the net when you're trying to lodge yeah?? I made that mistake on my mrs' laptop which has prepaid brodband, so used to adsl that i forgot to connect.

No probs when I lodged my wife's or mine, got it back in a week too....
Are you doing it a work or from home?

Ummm not a stupid question mate.

Of course I am connected to the net, how else would I get onto P-wrx?

Etax program says im connected (when I'm checking in HELP - says I can connect to ato.gov.au) but when im trying to lodge it, says it cant connect

When did you download etax?
When I got mine it said that it had been updated.

Checked for updates when you first open etax incase they've changed something?

well it all started last wk, i just downloaded the one again just now with new updates

might have to go with the good old tax pack if it doesnt work with the freshly downloaded version!

hahaha, just read off HELP saying 'You can use e-tax to print your tax return and mail it to the Tax Office, using the following address, for processing within 7 weeks.' haha fail :(

oh wells. guess thats my only option for now :)
