As the 40 year anniversary has just past of the first moon landing of Apollo 11 on the 20th July 1969, I wondered how many people might not believe it did actually happen.

It took over 4'000 staff directly related to this mission. Not 1 whistleblower??

Dave, were u watching that 'dark side of the moon' last night on SBS. I found it quite interesting, entetaining the idea that President Regan organised that film studio in London were 'Beyond 2000' was being filmed to stage film a landing should the pictures not make it back from space.

I still think that they did do it, but because of the unknown factors, they were ready to stage a filming of it, in order to prove it had been done.

Or some people dont have tv??

I think the 'whistle blowers" were on the documetories on it but proving any differant is a little harder............

there was a good mythbusters on last saturday night related to this, they concluded that they did actually land on the moon as its not possible to fake the moonwalk by slowing down earth footage, they went up in some plane that flys in controlled parabola's to simulate exact moon gravity, the walk was performed exactly as it was on the moon
