335i or Cayman or what?

So, after the successful S202 vs Classic thread where an S202 is now bobbing around in the North Pacific Ocean I thought I'd enlist some help with the next choice.

Thinking of parting ways with Betty STI for a daily that is still fast but people dont mistaken for an I30 high and dry.

The new car wont be tracked as thats what the 202 is for.

So if you have a 100K or so to drop on a 2008 or newer car what would it be and why?

Cars Ive been looking at are the Porsche Cayman and the BMW 335i.

I envisage the Porsche wont be able to be left anywhere without it attracting unwanted attention but am seeking anecdotal evidence of this.

The 335i is the front runner but I havent driven one yet. It is kind of a sleeper and the car I buy doesn't need to handle as well as Betty. I would like to stay AWD but more a luxury than a necessity.

I dont see HSV and FPV etc as an option as resale is nice to have.

I have thought about taking the Liberty tuned by STI of the wife too, or getting my own one but unsure about this.

335i.... Nuff said IMO...

Porsche I wouldn't bother at that price range... unless your going for a 2nd hand 996 TT?

Do we get 335Xi's here? I know they do in the states. At least you can have a monster of a car and it is still AWD.

I have had the pleasure of driving a 335 several times when in the States and the car is so much fun. It has a heap of power, the best chassis and awesome creature comforts. If I could, I would buy one without any hesitation. Even fuel economy is good for what they are.

If you want shit loads of scary fun, take a 135 out, it scared the shit out of me!
