That is what it looks like from my guess too. Feel sorry for the guys that were stopped.

Accidents like that happen daily on our roads regardless of vehicle type. Wouldn't have made headlines had a million people not filmed it. Does forums and car enthusiast communities like ours no good at all!

ALL the drivers except for the first car/driver were at fault. All following too closely.

Well that surely sucks, the meet was great and good turn out. Just a few reckless people when departing and the handful of idiots that wanted to rev the shit out of there cars.

People just need to pay more attention and not show off.

My interpretation, from what I have been told coupled together with the footage is that there were two accidents waiting to happen due to all of them accelerating hard too closely to each other. Especially the yellow Honda. If you watch the video you will see how close he is to the blue FD. There is no way he pulled up safely in time. There are rumours that the Honda was racing the car next to it in the left lane... it's certainly possible that he shunted the FD into the first car, then the EVO came in hard and shunted the car in front of it into the others, all within a split second. Everyone will have different stories and different interpretations. The only ones that matter are WAPOL's and their insurance companies.

The only thing that is for certain is that they all contributed to the accident. If any of them deny that, they're delusional imo.

- age
- inexperience
- tunnel vision from trying to impress every one with revving their tits off

This is pretty much why I don't bother with participating in cruising these days, that and the fact that I don't want some idiot crashing into me and causing financial or personal suffering.

Been rear ended once, never want to go through that shit again.
