Targa west cars still meet all the required road rules for their class, so that is a stupid comparison.

Unlicensed cars, cars sitting 10mm off the ground, 5 grade tint etc, whilst the car may "look" cool, is just asking for it going on a public cruise.

Remember most of the public does not like the 'hoons' cruising the streets.

If the car isn't legal it shouldn't be on the road. Just because you want to be part of a fundraising cruise doesn't make it okay to break the laws of the road, no matter how trivial they seem to be and expecting the police to turn a blind eye because you are supporting a charity is rediculous.

If these bogans in their commodores are so keen on helping out a charity then there a bazillion was of doing so that involved leaving the shitbox at home in the garage. Thick f*cking Aussies.
