I've just started my own business and need to do some basic training for the latest version (18) of MYOB Accounting.

Tried entering purchases I've already made but got a bit lost.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I use MYOB at work, its fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

What are you actually trying to do?

First up I need to enter all the purchases I've already made, computer gear, stationery etc. I've created the company file and had MYOB setup the accounts, coz I wouldn't know where to start with that!!

The bit I'm unsure of is the "Item Number" in purchases, do I just add new items or something, coz there aren't any in the list

Leave item number blank - not needed.

I accidentally entered it as a Bill, not an Order, how can I delete the transaction/bill?

You can't really delete. You can zero it out or google the error you get, I know when I had to delete something there was some convoluted way of doing it.

Random clicking is your friend.

There is a trainer in Mandurah that comes to you and sets it up etc.. maybe let your fingers do the walking and get someone in.
