Transporting Motorbikes

Hi Guys,

We have had to fly to Brissy over the weekend for a family emergency.

There is half a chance that we may have to transport a Motorbike back.

I have the transport side of it taken care of but I imagine it will need to be crated.

Does anybody know a national crating company who can pick it up from a house and crate it? It is a Yamaha XVS650A.

Cheers

Dan

Drop into a local bike shop - they should know how to get it done or do it for you

When i needed to transport my bike (R6 at the time), I just went to the local bike shop and picked up one of the crates that thy get new bikes delivered in. Took it home, did a bit of customising/fab work on it, and wallah, free bike crate.

Thanks guys.

I don't have the time or tools to modify anything. I will even need whoever to pick it up from an address.

Thanks for the help guys.

Bike Movers are nowhere, motorbikeransport was HELL OF EXPENSIVE.

Ended up getting it over from the help of the local Yamaha dealership and GKR Transport.
