friday funnies?
|
bloke at work had one today, it actually looked a bit different from memory. He seemed to enjoy it tho, we were joking about putting it in the toastee maker, everything tastes better toasted hahaha
|
Cadbury for the fucking lose.
They keep changing their formulas on everything.. the original Dairy Milk formula has more vegetable oil in it. Cadbury's PR department tells us its to make the chocolate softer and easier to eat.. we know as well as everyone else that its to save money. It also tastes inferior, but Cadbury's PR department also tells us a fib.. something along the lines of the new "shape" of the blocks touches different taste buds as you put it in your mouth, hence the taste is different. BULLLLLLSHIT. The shape is actually to disguise the fact that the blocks have been reduced from 250g to 200g, and they cost the same.. Cadbury can go fuck themselves. |
You should try a battered and deep fried cream egg :D
|
Heard on the 7pm project tonight that cadbury has been bought out by Kraft. Expect a bunch more changes now the americans are in the saddle, hopefully for the good.

From an email I was sent many moons ago.......
I checked out Cadbury today at Woolworths!!! No more Cadbury's for me!!! I will check everything from now on... It is also on my Bega Cheese. The symbol is so small you can hardly ready what it says. This is absolute fact. Before Lorraine went shopping Monday I showed her this email. She looked at the products in the shop mentioned and they had the symbol hidden on the back of the packaging and in a very weak colour that was hard to see. Leggo's Pasta Sauce has the logo on their bottles. . Have you ever seen this symbol on your food products? The LHS symbol is that of the - HALAL CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY - AUSTRALIA This is a Muslim Association that collects money from the Australian Food Industry for this symbol so that Muslims will purchase the product. Yet we are told the Muslim population are only one and a half percent of Australia's total! On a recent radio talk-back show a well known host was alerted to this practice. He hit a stone wall when trying to find out HOW MUCH money was paid to this organization and WHERE the money went. It was explained that by buying those marked products at least you are supporting a religion that is actively trying to destroy the Australian way of life or at the other extreme the money MAY be supporting terrorism. Many Australian Companies are paying this money including BEGA, CADBURY and many other well known companies. Check before you buy. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THAT MONEY IS GOING? Until you know, support those companies that support the Australian way of life. |
^ you would have to be a complete moron to believe that rubbish. The moron that wrote that article should've googled the meaning of halal before dribbling bin laden bullshit.
|
I would guess that the Halal stamp is on the packaging (of Cadbury's at least) because the same packaging is used for exports to Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei.
|
lol people seem to think if its in an email its the truth............
lol people seem to think if its in an email its the truth............
Well that wasn't very hard at all. My work here in this thread is done :p |
On topic - tried one this arvo, tastes exactly the same as all the others I've had over the years.
And Cadbury changed their recipe back due to public outcry. |
new coke.

Speaking of money grubbing...
Arnotts. I've loved Arnotts "Cheds" for years. I opened a packet today, to find they've changed the cracker! It used to be a cheesey flavoured cracker with the cheese crumbs sprinkled on top, Now its just a plain cracker with the dust on it! Its lost half its flavour! A dusty fucking cruskit! |
I like Samboy chips :)

Atomic tomato yes but not the flavour bombs, there is talk of them bringing them back though. |
fuck yeh flavour bombs FTW..
|
Lemon Lite chips... God damn they were the bomb.
|
Lolly gobble bliss bombs...
Enough said |
Cream eggs seem the same to me... but then again I only really have about one a year so my taste buds aren't to be trusted.
Is anyone else surprised at how much chocolate has gone up in the last few years? It seems not that long ago I was buying the cadbury 250g blocks for $3.00 and now I'm having to pay $4.50 for a 190g block. Still doesn't stop me buying it but I would like to see the return of big blocks of cheap chocolate. Is Australia just getting too fat? |
