Where Can I go to do Sick Skids?!?
As the Title, HOWEVER, I would like to know where I can do a skid pan day where I can flick the DCCD back and have a bit of a play without getting a warning or kicked off. The ACT guys had one where the track was wet and they got to do some cool slides.
Anyone know of where this can happen? |

Please elaborate... :) I'd love to get access to a big tarmac/concrete skidpad just to let loose and practice. |
Yes go on...as long as its legal

On subject, is the old Caversham racetrack still in existence, & if so, available for use?
It was a long time ago, but when I was doing my police pursuit driver training back in '92 we had several days of short course rally/drift/cutting sick at Stirling Moss's old haunt. Sorry, been out of the Perth metro loop a long time & wouldn't have a clue what was happening at Caversham now :icon_conf |
they're building a new sea of houses there, most of the previous driving area is now filled with rooms for the construction guys or something

Sad to hear :(
That was still the best 3 weeks of my life & I got paid to do it :icon_twis |
40kms of twisty gravel tracks next door to where I live in mount Helena.
Plenty of Tarmac spots in the hills but none of it's legal. Perth needs another skid pan! Oh I think there is an historic raceway between lord st and west swan rd. Not sure what it's used for now, but it's still in use in one form or another. |
