JVC head unit issues.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to install this : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JVC-CAR-STEREO-MP3-AUX-IN-AUDIO-INPUT-CABLE-FOR-IPOD_W0QQitemZ320454418684QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4a9c9260fc

on my jvc kd-g515 unit. I have connected the cable at the back of the unit and my iphone seems to see the connection. On my unit though when i press "source" it only cycles through "cd" and "radio". Theres no AUX?

Is there a setting i need to change or buttons that need to be pressed in order to activate the feature. I don't have a manual/guide for the unit :(

any help would be great :)

A previous JVC head unit I had, had a option to 'turn off' the AUX function, so I assume that maybe its turned off?

I found a manual for your head unit. Hope it helps....

well on my unit i had to hold down the [S] button for about 5-7sec until "MENU" appeared on the screen. Then scrolling accross to "EXT IN" using the dial, pressed [S] again. Now when i press "source" on the unit i get "fm/am, cd, ext in"

hope that helps.
