Hi,

Seeing as there was a thread with building already, I wanted to start a new thread because this is more specifically tied into Trades contacts that you've
1) used before and would recommend
2) can get us a discounted rate for services
3) free advertising for your friends who are in the building trades

I'm in the process of looking for the following for completion of a newly built home, but any help / contacts would be great, I'm sure others would be pleased to have the contacts too.

a) Pavers - including limestone, brick paving etc
b) Landscapers - design work, reticulation, lawn, garden beds, trees etc
c) Painting - rendering, internal / external walls etc
d) Tiling - standard, porcelain etc
e) Decking - timber, pine, jarrah etc
f) Flooring - hardwood, floating etc
g) Window treatment - blinds, curtains, venetians etc
h) Lighting / Electrical

Any posts would help me and others (I presume).

Very interested in this thread, as I am in the same boat, with a house nearing completion and a few things on the to-do-list.

Probably my main focus at this stage would be lawn

For garden needs talk to Trevor Simpson. Worked for me for a seriously long time and now subcontracts to us doing front garden packages. He is located SOR but will travel. Tell him brendon winterbourn sent you. His mobile is 0412 384 397. He is currently on holidays until the 22nd Feb.
