Friend of mine runs a slushy hire business so all i paid for was the mixs that went in the machine twin bowls he gave me for the weekend. that thing was the best .
Strawberry Dacari and Midori Illusion

CCTV is all around my house lol 12 cameras so far,

My next party will Have two machines two twin bowels, as this was a house warming and mrs birthday, I had to cut the list down as it was already 60ish people who turned up.

But for my 30th I told the mrs i'm inviting people which didnt make it on the first list lol.

Probably had another 20 people i wanted to invite but list was jsut getting to big and she was stressing haha. Women

hi people

as some might know I have been doing my DIY backyard for about a year now and I have just done the lighting a couple of months ago so I thought I would post up some pics and as someone suggested before I have 4 flood light (1 in each corner) pointed towards the centre to defuse the light but give the area good lighting.

I have also chucked up the x-mas lights instead of packing them away , but now I call them my Mexican festival lights

I also have lighting in the water feature/coy pond I have made that gives an awesome effect/reflection at night , but of course one of the globes managed to pop just before I took the pics

this pic is with just the mexican festival lights and water feature

It works the same as any camera flash shot where you point the flash at a white ceiling, it bounces the light all over the place and lights up a big area.

Just for reference this area is 10m x 6m and is only lit by one 150w light, as I didn't want the other end (where the spa is) to be so bright. When the STi isn't parked there we put the pool table up in that area and it's plenty of light to play by.

This is half the patio, I have another dome to the right of this shot that is 12m x 6m and is lit by two 150w lights, although they are not on in this shot. It's plenty of light to eat/drink/be merry by.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Wrxpc

Jedi luke, your setup looks amazing mate. So clean and simple, but very nice. You must be stoked with that considering your did it all DIY. Lighting effects also look really good to.

Frig me....this thread took a while to find.... Bumping for patio lighting ideas.

Luke: are you able to post pics/details of the actual lights you used and the mounting / cabling? Also, what dimension is your patio?

Trying to get ideas for finishing the back landscaping.....
