Do you think the cops use Trapster?
 

A mobile cop just set up with the gun on Pinjarra Road.

I trapster him (of course after I pull my vehicle off the road blah blah blah)

2 minutes later, he leaves.

Coincidence?

I doubt it as they are so busy doing cop business :D

Anyone found trapster to be a success? I used it on my android phone for about a day but it seemed kind of useless :(

I got the app when it first came out (probably over a year ago now) and I think that I was one of about 3 users in WA at the time so it was completely useless. Now, there seem to be plenty of users making the system pretty useful. I spotted three cameras over the long weekend and each time I went to report them, someone had done it beforehand so if I'd had trapster open, I wouldn't have had to rely on the detector. The greater the number of users, the more effective the app becomes.

I run an iPhone and it sends me push notifications when I am within 2.6km of the trap.

It's great.

what phones do they run on? I wouldn't be suprised if an individual office had it but i doubt the whole force has iphones

I would only expect the office to have it running, maybe even on a pc? and just radio to the guys.

I'm sure they have much better things to do than monitor Trapster.

Kinda on the same topic but I've had trapster tell me multiple
times there are red light cameras at intersections but there's
definately no camera's there!

Anyone else had false alerts?
