You think WA Fines are bad
 

My missus is living back in melbourne for a while, she just got done by 2 fixed speed cameras within 2 days hehe, she was 11km over on both. $118.45 EACH FINE plus 3 Points.

Fuckn tell me thats not revenue raising!

Bloody hell, and I bet you thought shopping for clothes/shoes would be her biggest expense while over there. :)

P.S. Dan, do you happen to live right next to the Golf Course in Halls Head?

Ok, lets get more specific - was it Leyburn Drive, or on the corner of it?

I had a $150 fine and lost 3 points about a year and a half ago because i had 'insufficient lighting in hours of darkness'. I had the parking lights on, not the full headlight, which i know was my fault - that was dumb.
I just pulled out of my brother's driveway, and they nabbed me straight away.
This is when i first got my P's, and was driving my beater Camry.

He was a pommy, and i hope he enjoyed giving me that fine.

I am running pretty low too. I learnt a valuable lesson.... Dont tell the cops fuck all when you have an accident, it only gets you careless driving, a fine and 3 points down the drain.

That's only $18.45 more expensive for each fine compared to Perth. The thing to note is the points tho. In WA for 10-19kms over afaik it's $100 and 1 point.
