I was always of the belief it is the highest card on the table, so it would be split as you both had an Ace high flush

Thats what i thought also and used played that. But this is the APL rules and obviously full tilt rules also so that is what i play now..

You're right Tino - whilst we both have an ace high flush, the strength of a flush goes through to the 5th card - the winning hand here is technically an ace-king-ten-nine-eight high flush.

You win.

Fred the 10s have nothing to do with this hand as they are nit of the same suite as the flush hand.

So it would be A K 3 then my two cards 8 and 9 for the flush draw.
