Was at Cott yesterday when he drove in front of me in the Suby with a paddy wagon chasing him followed by an unmarked car, all I could smell as we drove up the road was brakes, poor car.

I'd go for pepper spray champ. Its compact, easy to use and is not likely to cut your bird in half if it becomes airborn in a car crash (a-la-Snatch).
