Gday,

Does anyone have any experience (or mate who does) in installing a waterless urinal system into an existing urinal.

I only have one cermaic wall mounted urinal that I need converted as the current cistern is too old to maintain properly and too involved ( read expensive) to replace as it's inbuilt into a wall. Its about time the boys stopped wasting water on flushing anyway.

Any help, suggestions or directions would be appreciated.

The shell terminal in north freo have waterless urinals that are a toilet lolly that Kills the bugs and smells.

All they have done is turn the water off and dropped the lollys in the urinal.
Seems to work fine, doesn't smell at all. And we have nearly a hundred odd people using the same toilets.

I'll get the supplier details if you like.

The one I have seen encompasses the "lolly" in a container that is part of a new raised drain grate which can be retrofitted to the urinal's drain. I just can't seem to find anyone in the west that supplies.

had a waterless system at my old work.
FAIL
It ended up smelling and looking stained all the time. Gave up and went back to the normal system.
