Looking for a Ford forum

Looking for a good Ford forum for Matt "Crowbar" to join (Has a BA falcon)

A google search finds quite a few Ford forums, but I want to know if
anyone here has already joined any and found out which
is best (Ramon :rolleyes:) which will save trolling through the crap.

The sorts of questions that will be asked are quite straight forward for
an unmodified 2004 BA. So hardcore modding is not high on the list.

Cheers for any input.

Okey Dokey...

In the presence of a Ford guru (on a WRX forum :confused:)...

What is the procedure with this below.

I'm guessing
* Drain fluid via rubber pipe at back of tank
* Undo metal pipe
* replace washer (rubber ? Alloy like aircon ? part number ?)
* Do it back up
* refill tank with fresh fluid.
* Start it up
* Happy times :p.

Anything wrong with above process ? Do you know if there is a washer
and its part number ? Or will entire pipe need to be replaced ?
Does tank (being plastic) commonly break in such a procedure ?
Anything else to watch out for (other than the obvious sell and by WRX)

I'll try get you some part numbers and a prices tomorow mate, the procedure you mentioned above is fine only other thing to do is remove the V belt or what ever you wana call it and spin the power steering pump by hand for a while to
"bleed the pump" or you will get a nice steering shudder for a while. I'm prety sure there's a o ring around the pipe which could be where your leak is coming from (haven't done one for a while so details are blurry).

ok so its going to cost you around the $200 dollar mark for a set of new hoses, you get both hoses but you can get away with replacing the big hose (high pressure hose) which is leaking ive added some pics to show you what goes wrong, you can always try replacing the little o ring at the end which ive pointed out but 98% of the time its the o ring under the screw on fitment that leaks and thats not replacable, your local ford dealership should have the hoses in stock as this is a common problem.

Heres one i prepared earlier lol

+1 for fordforums.com.au. Used to be a frequent member a few years back. Helpful place. Not to be confused with the (now) US focused fordforums.com. The .au guys split from the US site years ago.
