Road Warning for Pinjarra/Waroona/Dwellingup Area

Just a quick FYI guys and girls.

The shire have been doing road works in these area's and failing to put signage up. Yesterday, a rider was killed when he hit an area covered in loose blue metal on both lanes, no sign's, he tank slapped, then highsided and was killed on impact. And another incident, 3-4 weeks ago, a friend's dad's work collegue wrote off her car coming around a corner in Dwellingup after hitting an area covered in loose blue metal, again not signed. She wrapped it around a tree.

Just thought I would put the word out there.

Drive Safely.

NB: Please keep comments of useless driving/riding and speeding out of here. I'm sure its probably obvious the bike rider was going hard, but no one deserves to die like that.

Wouldn't the council be legally liable for those accidents?

You'd think liability would get the council bureaucrats off their asses and get proper signage up.

It's hard to sue someone when your dead

pinjarra is covered by the shire of murray (mandurah), and waroona falls under the shire of harvey i think?

Family of the deceased can sue. And someone could be up for criminal negligence. maybe?

Sue the council? or sue the company carrying out the repairs?

Came back from Dwellingup yesterday and there were bulk bikes on the road. Those roads are fucked enough without having blue metal scattered over them...

Is this a bad time to say that I work for the Shire of Murray?
