my 2 month old computer was working fine until this week, now I cannot get my outlook to open.

here's the kicker, the missus and the oldest child both have profiles on the same computer and both of theirs still work.

I cannot find anything I have done to stop mine from working.

I click on it, it opens for a poofteenth of a sceond then I get an error message "cANNOT START mICROSOFT oFFICE OUTLOOK. CANNOT OPEN THE OUTLOOK WINDOW."

Can one of you tech heads out there please tell me what I did and how to fix it please

Sounds very similar to a problem that my old man had, cause is normally a corrupt piece of data within the outlook.pst file, run the scan and repair anything it detects and you should be right to go.

Just be sure to make a back up of your outlook files by copying them into a new folder.

Create a new profile and see if it works. If it does, move all your docs/pics etc out of "my documents" (or the vista/win 7 equivalent) and delete the old profile.
