while Im not a fan of holdens. (in saying that, it looks like a good example) I can sympathise with anyone who loses their pride and joy that they worked hard for, especially when its some useless piece of shit taking something that doesn't belong to them.
Hope he gets it back.

thats been the sentiment on CT man... i hate scum like that, hence why im trying to help. i can appreciate your stance on holdens, as im sure its shared by many, but the vl turbo is somewhat unique considering it had a jap engine from factory and many owners/enthusiasts (me included) are far more open minded when it comes to jap spec/parts/turbos than most of your average holden fans.

many of the boys on CT are massive JDM fans, which is something not as common im sure amongst the more 'mainstream' holden fans :)

It will get chased about a dozen times I reckon before it comes unstuck and ends up looking like that yellow evo. Hopefully not but cars that obviously go as quick as that (from what I can see) will be out and about for a while before it gets recovered.

Holden or not, A lot of effort has obviously gone into this car. Although the dodgy runts may be caught, I somehow get the feeling that this car, being as distinctive as it is, would be lucky to be seen out and about, and more likely stripped for parts :(

One of my best mates. He is gutted.

im of the same opinion alternate, probable strip as opposed to a joyride. i think they know what they wanted.

Whether I like this car or not one thing I can appreciate is effort 'which this car def has had poured into it'.

Hopefully he's insured to a reasonable amount of the cars worth, and will def be looking out for this vehicle 'not like you'd miss it'.

here's hoping for a speedy and undamaged recovery for your mate!

I assuming there's some suspicion that this theft may be closer to 'calaisturbo.com', home then wanted?

Unfortunately these cars aren't hard to bypass and with that amount of cash/time put into it, makes it 'unfortunately', a prime target for poor cunts!

marc, thats a possibility, as far as any WA member is concerned we all want to see it back and i thoroughly doubt any direct involvment, but CT is a public forum, also the owner may have had it up for sale at some point in time, and as such anyone could have enough info to execute the theft

awesome plates if they're legit!

Looks like a monster, all the best with a speedy, undamaged recovery!
