I got ripped on ebay a year ago for hundreds of dollars for car parts. It was a mob called performance_wholesaler.
Does anyone know how i can find a address of this prick? all I have now is a phone number and i know he lives in pymble nsw.
If anyone knows a website os someone who can help please let me know.

Its not just me looking for this guy, i know that heaps of people got ripped also.

im sure someone with a DTMS reverse phone book disk mgiht be able to find the address of that number, i got a DTMS here somewhere just need to find it ... if its a private number though u might have some trouble finding a address. Also take into consideration it was a year ago so he/she might have moved on.

I just found the image on my HDD so ill let you know soon if i have come up with anything....

ps b4gt, if you got the 04 db off a certain torrent site, what mysql program did you export it to? i have no idea with mysql :S

umm got it off a diffrent network wasnt bittorent, and was a already prepared iso image, so just had to burn it and thats it, sorry i cant help you there.

You can just about guarantee these parasites are trading now but under a different name address etc, they make a living out of preying on people who can't do bugger all about it, a mate of mine lost thousands on a pocket bike deal, same thing, but you are supposed to be safe if you use paypal, it's the only way I will buy on eBay now, you've also gotta make sure they have good feedback. Good luck n hope you get em.

Just a thought... draft out an email explaining your situation and send it to the last dozen or so eBayers who successfully received items from him/her. Good chance that one of them would have the sender's address if he/she was kosher when sending the goods.

Did ya hit eBay up for losing your dough?

I'm guessing you deposited money into his/her account in order to get ripped off right? Contact the bank in question, explain what happened and ask for their assistance, if they won't provide you any details (which I'm sure they won't), ask for them to release it to the police, or contact the local cops in the city and see what they can do...

Last resort ask the bank if they won't mind today tonight rocking up looking for an interview with the bank that allows dodgy people to steal money from others....
